Eerie
This sound design project explores storytelling through audio by recreating two narratives:
A real-life incident & a Reddit-sourced story. Using only stock sound libraries and recorded voiceovers, I focused on building atmosphere, emotional pacing, and spatial depth without relying on visuals. The project was produced and mixed in Adobe Audition, with emphasis on layering, transitions, and realistic sound continuity. I used audio-based time-skips, through abrupt cuts, fades, and evolving ambiences. Particular attention was given to silence, texture, and timing to enhance tension and immersion.
Equipment: H6 Handy Recorder
Software: Adobe Audition

My real-life incident
About two years ago, a night before an important exam, extreme stress brought on sleep paralysis. I felt suffocated and completely immobilized, unable to shout, while tiny sounds like ticking clock, were painfully amplified in my ears.
The reddit story
A blind writer moves into a quiet suburban house, relying on sound, memory, and routine to navigate. One evening, the staircase to her room begins to behave impossibly, its steps multiplying beyond reason.
